Yesterday, the RIAL group of Yuri Borisovets received permission from the State Construction Supervision Authority to commission the Green Plaza office and shopping center, the group’s financial director Marina Medvedeva told Kommersant. According to her, sales of offices in Green Plaza will begin in November. The sales price was not agreed upon with Sberbank, which financed the construction.

The area of Green Plaza is about 15 thousand square meters. m of retail space and 16 thousand sq. m. m of office space, of which 11 thousand sq. m of underground parking.

Let us recall that the Green Plaza complex of multifunctional public buildings was planned to be built on the territory of Perm in May 2007. However, construction was suspended due to the dissatisfaction of public figures, who drew attention to the fact that the building spoils the appearance of the municipal palace of culture located opposite. The question arose about the demolition of the construction that had begun. As a result, Perm-Construction LLC, through the court, managed to cancel the boundaries of the monument protection zones that included the land plot of the business center (7.3 thousand sq. m.). In June 2010, Perm-Construction still managed to obtain a construction permit. The permit was issued for a period until December 31, 2011. At the same time, the developer made changes to the project: during the adjustment, the area and volume of the complex will increase by approximately one and a half times. Also, changes have been made to the new Green Plaza project in the appearance of the complex, taking into account the wishes of the Perm administration.
