Debtors will be able to return the money ahead of schedule without the consent of the creditor

Dmitry Medvedev signed amendments to the Civil Code, which allow you to repay the loan ahead of schedule without paying additional fines and without the consent of the creditor himself. The document was published today, October 21, in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Today, the loan can be returned ahead of schedule only in case of the consent of the credit. Now debtors will be able to return the money ahead of schedule if they took it for personal, family, home or other use, not related to the entrepreneur. To do this, it will only be necessary to blame the creditor in writing about his desire no later than 30 days. At the same time, it is proposed to establish the possibility of determining a shorter notice in the loan agreement.

The law will apply to contracts concluded before the day it enters into force.
