The new leadership of Libya will transfer the body of Gaddafi to his relatives for burial

The new authorities of Libya are negotiating with the relatives of Muamar Gaddafi living in Sirte, about who exactly should be transferred to the body of the former leader of the country, said Ahmed Djibril's transition National Council of Libya.

"Some members of the Gaddafi family live in Sirte, some in other cities of the country. We expect that the transfer of the body will take place very soon. This is a matter of several days, if not hours," he said in an interview with the British television channel Sky News . “In the interests of not only his family, but the whole country to bury Gaddafi in a place, the location of which will be unknown. We have not yet decided where to do this,” Djibril added.

Earlier, another representative of the new leadership Omran al-Uweyb said that it was already decided to transfer the body of Gaddafi to his family. He said that his opening was made in Misurat, despite the fact that the commanders of the PNS detachments opposed this. According to some media, they "refuse to take responsibility for his death."

The Libyan doctor, who opened the body of the former leader of Libya Muamar Gaddafi, confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound, Reuters reported.

The commander of one of the units of the forces of the transitional National Council of Libya Omran Omran, who delivered the body of Mummar Gaddafi to the hospital, said that he tried to save the overthrown leader of the Libyan Jamahiria, but could not do this, RIA Novosti reports.

In an interview with the British Air Force, Omran Ovayb said that the wounded colonel was dragged out of the drainage pipe, in which he was hiding in Sirte, after which he took only ten steps and collapsed unconscious when they began to shoot around.

This information is partly confirmed by amateur video shooting of one of the eyewitnesses of the event, which was shown by the British TV channel Sky News. Behind the scenes, shouts were heard that "Gaddafi needs to be left alive." Then, the insensitive body of Gaddafi was shown, the very fact of execution on the video was not recorded.

According to Avueb, the fire was carried out from all sides, and it was impossible to determine who exactly made a fatal shot. “I have not seen who killed Gaddafi and from what weapons they shot at him. I tried to save his life, but unsuccessfully,” the military says.

As the commander of the unit said, some of his fighters wanted to shoot the colonel, and he tried to prevent this. According to Ovayb, after Gaddafi lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground, he took him to the field hospital, where doctors stated the death of the colonel.
