Young Petersburgers are increasingly selling their housing to move to Moscow

The number of alternative transactions for the sale of real estate in Petersburgers in their city and the purchase of inexpensive housing in Moscow or the near Moscow region has grown significantly.

According to experts, real estate operations of Moscow-Sank-Petersburg, costing from 3 million to 7 million rubles, are 80% of alternative transactions.

Despite the fact that today the difference in the cost of housing in Moscow and St. Petersburg is about 40-50%, the number of requests for such exchanges is increasing, RIA Novosti reports.

They sell real estate in St. Petersburg, as a rule, young people and families, under the age of 40, who are already constantly living in Moscow, or associate their future work and accommodation with the capital.

But if earlier, during such transactions, residents of St. Petersburg sold, as a rule, their second housing, today Petersburgers are selling their only apartments in order to buy housing in Moscow or the Moscow region.
