A professional association of religious lawyers has been created in Moscow. The Guild of Russian Christian Lawyers unites lawyers and other legal professionals who share Christian beliefs. It already includes or has announced their intention to include representatives of Protestantism, as well as Orthodoxy and Catholicism.
According to the Guild's press service, to date applications have been submitted from lawyers and law firms from Central Russia, the Urals, the Volga region and even Siberia.
“We are confident that by the first conference the work of the Guild will be carried out from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. We are just setting up and launching the official website of the organization, and applications are already coming from it from potential participants in the professional union of religious lawyers from various regions of the country,” they explained to the portal Baznica.Info in the press service of the organization.
At the beginning of December 2011, the first conference of the Guild of Christian Lawyers will be held in Moscow, at which famous clergy will speak, and Russian and foreign professional lawyers will share their experience. A round table is planned during the conference, where participants will be able to build a nationwide network of interaction to improve the efficiency of working with clients.
On the organization’s website, which is currently in the process of testing, you can already find the Manifesto and Charter of the Guild .
