
Assistant to the President of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich considers incorrect forecast of experts of the Higher School of Economics about the dollar exchange rate to the ruble. This was reported on the website of RIA "Novosti" . HSE predicted that in the context of the global financial crisis, the rate can increase to 46.6 rubles per dollar by the end of 2014.
“I think this is a wrong forecast. There is simply no reason to wait for significant shocks on world wounds, and in the absence of such shocks there is no reason to believe that the ruble can significantly weaken, ”said Dvorkovich.
From his own forecast, the presidential assistant abstained. At the same time, he noticed that small short -term fluctuations in the course can occur. In case of preservation of stable world prices for raw materials, in his opinion, there should not be strong changes.
In 2011, in Russia, the dollar ranges around 30 rubles around, while in some periods the American currency fell to 27.5 rubles and exceeded 32 rubles. In September, the Ministry of Finance appointed 29 rubles for one dollar fair. “The ruble rate 29 is the central course around which fluctuations should occur depending on the state of the economy, depending on the general economic trend,” explained Sergei Storchak, Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia.
