In Oxford, a Russian Orthodox temple was robbed

The Russian St. Nicholas Church in Oxford was robbed.

"Again, Christ is reproached through the weak faiths and morality of people who in their atrocities attacked the holy and plundered by our Orthodox shrines: the dome cross, particles of holy relics, sacred vessels and more," the Epistle of the Archbishop of Elisha, the head of the Surozh dardch of the Moscow Patriarchate says, which unites parishes. According to information widespread by the Internet set of parish, the church was robbed twice at the end of October. Another attempt by attackers to penetrate the temple at night broke: they were scared away by parishioners who were on duty in the building.

The police are informed about incidents, but so far the criminals have not been found.

The insurance company with which the parish cooperates promised to compensate for the damage. Now in the temple, security measures are amplified: locks are changing, alarm is installed.
