The Prime Minister of Greece will be Lucas Papadimos

The leaders of the Greek parties agreed to offer the parliament of the new prime minister - Lucas Papademos. It is reported byReuters based on the results of consultations. Papadimos previously held the post of vice president of the Bank of Europe.

Among the candidates that were discussed, in addition to the papadimos , the current European Ombudsman Nikiforos Diamanduras, who was also proposed by the Left -Gentrist PACOCE PASOSE and the former European Commissioner for the Environment, the current deputy chairman of the New Democracy Party, Stavros Stavros, was also proposed. His candidacy was offered by one -party members.
