Samsung remakes Galaxy Tab taking into account Apple's complaints - a metal rim appeared

After the German court sided with Apple in September and confirmed the ban on the sale of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the country, Samsung had to modify the German market, taking into account the competitor’s patent claims, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the CNET News publication.

According to reports, a metal rim around the perimeter of the device was a fundamental difference between the new design of the tablet from Samsung. Whether the design and technology of the device has undergone other changes is unknown.

The changed design of the tablet, apparently, was the result of the cooperation of the Samsung team in the design of products and lawyers in Germany, writes a German Foss Patent media blog, the media blog regularly cited due to the confrontation between Apple and Samsung. According to him, if a metal rim has become the only change in the tablet, Samsung can threaten new claims from Apple.
