The new iPhone may appear in Russia in December

Two sources, “aware of supplies plans,” told RIA Novosti reporters that IPhone 4S can wait for the start of official sales in the Russian market in December.

Sources, however, could not name retail prices for the iPhone 4s in Russia. At the same time, in Europe, the iPhone 4s is now worth the same as the iPhone 4 (with the same amount of memory) was worth the advent of the novelty.

Apple's new smartphone was announced on October 4 and appeared on sale in the first few countries of the world on October 14. To date, it is officially sold in 44 countries. According to Apple, by the end of the year the iPhone 4s will be officially available in more than 70 countries of the world. Whether these "more than 70" Russia is not fully clear.

With the launch of each new iPhone model, the time period between the start of sales of the device in the USA and in Russia is reduced. In the case of the iPhone 4, this gap was about three months.

You can, of course, buy iPhone 4s in Russia now, but these are not official supplies that are not “blessed” by Apple. "Gray Import" comes to us from other countries where the sales of the smartphone has already begun, bypassing the official supply channels.

In the first days after the appearance of the fashion gadget in Moscow, online stores and market merchants asked for it from 55 thousand to 85 thousand rubles, depending on the volume of built-in memory and the greed of sellers.

IPhone distributors in Russia are mobile operators of MTS and Vimpelcom. Officially, they do not comment on information about the opening of sales in December. MTS spokesman only noticed that her company is doing everything possible for the new Apple smartphones to appear in Russia as early as possible.
