Moscow drivers will be able to pay fines online

Since December, the Moscow authorities have been introducing a new online service - on the portal of public services of the city of Moscow PGU.mos.ru it will be possible to pay a fine.

In order to pay a fine, you will need to register, indicating the number of the pension insurance certificate. Further in your personal account it will be necessary to enter the number of a driver’s license, and payment can be made with a card of any bank.

Data on payment is automatically sent to the traffic police. In addition, a check is preserved in your personal account, it can be printed at any time to confirm the payment, Autonews notes.

Currently, up to 70% of motorists prefer to pay fines on the spot, and more than half of them are trying to agree with the traffic inspector, believing that it is easier and faster. The ability to pay a fine online can change this trend.

The federal system for paying fines of the traffic police online is still under development.
