
The Heads of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed a package of documents on a single economic space (EEP). The signing ceremony took place in Moscow, reports RBC . Agreements became part of the plan to create the Eurasian Economic Union, which should replace the Customs Union of the three countries.
Dmitry Medvedev believes that the Eurasian Economic Union can be created earlier than 2015 - an officially declared date for its formation.
Speaking about the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Commission, which will manage the processes of integration, Medvedev emphasized that Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan for the first time agreed on the formation of a supervisory and neutral in relation to these countries, which will be transferred more and more new powers.
