The topic of propaganda of something “non-traditional” traditionally haunt lawmakers of various levels. Last week, lawmakers from St. Petersburg were distinguished, which, in the framework of the fight against “sexual perversions”, proposed to be fined for the propaganda of “sodilling, lesbianism, bisexualism, transgenderness among minors.” Also, deputies of Zaks proposed to introduce a fine for propaganda of pedophilia. The amount of a fine for individuals is from a thousand to three thousand rubles.

“According to experts, the increasing propaganda of sexual perversions acts decomposing, primarily on minors, and is also one of the social factors that impede the growth of birth rate,” the explanatory note to the bill adopted in the second reading in the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly says.

During the consideration of the bill in the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Capital, deputies of different fractions (the representatives of United Russia and the LDPR) pushed that the bill was also not difficult enough. The bill is undoubtedly simply inadequate. Modern medicine is practically not used by the term “sexual perversion”, preferring the concept of “sexual deviation”. And few people already include homosexuality to “sexual deviations”. In the international classification of diseases in the latest editions, for example, sexy deviations are considered fetishism, voyeurism, exhibitionism, pedophilia, sadomasochism, and other deviations, such as necrophilia and sexual desire to animals. There is no homosexuality there. So the St. Petersburg deputies of the uniforms simply put themselves up by uneducated fools, and even incapable of attracting normal experts.

Although, if there is a “sovereign democracy” in the country, it would be difficult to be surprised at the appearance of “sovereign medicine”.

It is also interesting what the law enforcement practice can be. The bill does not define basic concepts (“propaganda”, “homosexuality”, “lesbianism” and so on). That is - for “propaganda” what exactly and in what form it is strictly impossible to find out of it, and this is a direct path to an expansion interpretation and sorry, all kinds of “political deviations”. Say, if the authorities like the Tatu group triumphantly at Eurovision, then everything is fine, and if not, then the propaganda of the “Lesbianism”.

Another aspect is extremely doubtful. St. Petersburg deputies actually equated the propaganda of pedophilia with the propaganda of same -sex love - equal fines were assigned for them. Meanwhile, pedophilia is a particularly serious criminal offense, while sodisting or lesbianism in the Criminal Code is not in principle. In the USSR, the punishment for homosexuality was provided, but there was no sex in the USSR.

Obviously, all sorts of gay parades that the authorities of the two capitals are already tired of prohibiting the first time be prohibited first.

And their participants, in addition to fines for - conditionally - “crossing the road in the wrong place” can still be “soldered” and a fine for “propaganda of sexual perversions”. Could the children see them on the street and immediately contact gays? Apparently they could.

The main thing in the bill is that it meets the request of the population. According to a survey of the Levada Center, a year ago, 39 percent of Russians are for compulsory treatment of homosexuals, another 24 are advanced for psychological assistance. The idea of ​​equal rights of gays and lesbians with “normal” sexual orientation causes sympathy only in 15 percent, and 84 and 82 percent are respectively against same-sex marriages and gay parades. Full unanimous practically.

Against this background, the deputies of St. Petersburg Zachs will be re -elected for new terms in the city parliament - along with the elections to the State Duma on December 4, the SKSU elections will be held in St. Petersburg. And the position of St. Petersburg United Russia is extremely shaky.

Petersburg is the rare region where United Russia even now does not have a simple majority in the regional parliament. Judging by the data of closed polls, which Gazeta.ru published a month ago, the rating of United Russia on Peter ranges at 30 percent, which threatens the loss of control over the city parliament. With all the ensuing consequences for the regional party leadership.

In such conditions, regional United Russias are trying to climb into the parliament at least a carcass, even with a scarecrow and the topic of struggle with gays, apparently, seemed electorally advantageous. In the end, Vladimir Zhirinovsky electorate "Manezhnaya Square" is spent. Why is the “party of power” not to play in homophobia, like the VVZh on nationalism?

True, exploiting the wild ideas of the electorate about reality (well, in fact, where who saw the propaganda of homosexuality? It’s not even funny), the regional united Russians not as a responsible and a lot of a party for the country, but as a fake pre -election project or populist organization, like the same LDPR. It turns out unsolvable. And the link to the Apostle Paul in such a context looks completely like a blasphemy. But whatever you decide for the sake of cherished interest and mandates!
