On November 27, late in the evening, access to the Orthodox shrine was stopped - the belt of the Virgin, who was exhibited in Moscow over the previous week, in the main cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Several hundred thousand people, citizens of a nuclear power of the XXI century, stood in the cold for 20–25 hours for a week, warmed up on buses, ran to the Emcheus field cuisines deployed immediately. The state television channel "Russia 1" said that touching the shrine could give healing from infertility and even cancer. And people rode and rode, although at any moment they could touch the other particles of the same belt, freely exhibited for pilgrims: one of them is literally 600 meters from the KhSS in the Church of the Elijah in the 2nd Jewish Lane, the other in the Serapion chambers of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in the Sergius Posad.

But it was more important for people to bow to the shrine brought from Greece, from Athos, from the Vatopedic monastery. For a month with a small belt, they managed to carry out 15 cities of Russia, from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, and during this time he was seen, according to the most modest estimates, about 2.5 million pilgrims. This is the All -Russian standing, probably the most striking diagnosis that Russian citizens made both the Russian authorities and the social state, and even the Church Institute, which is more entrusted to the President, the Government, Parliament, the National Leader, and so on. This standing became a clear evidence that people are not waiting for help and do not believe any institution of the state: all the hopes of the most disadvantaged sections of the population - the elderly and children - are associated only with a miracle.
