PZhiV and LDPR

I don't follow the election campaign. Watching the competition between the Party of Crooks and Thieves (PZhiV) and Any Other Party of Russia (LDPR) is boring and uninteresting.

But some details still cannot be unnoticed, and once noticed they cannot be appreciated.

In Kazan, the self-styled third capital of Russia, visual campaigning by parties has only been allowed in recent days. And all the squares and billboards were given to United Russia. Everywhere in the subway and highways there were only blue EP posters with their eternal slogan - “Let's eat together” (this is how the eye reads the slogan)

Tatarstan has always given big numbers for the party in power. However, the former president of the republic, Mintimer Shaimiev, is one of the founding fathers of United Russia. For this reason, his own party could not help but receive a record result in the territory under its control.

Today there is a new head at the helm of Tatarstan - Rustam Minnikhanov. I wonder how much “United” will receive on December 4 in Tatarstan? Many, by tradition, are full of hope - they say the new broom not only sweeps in a new way, but also does not run wild in the first years, like the old one.

Although, the beginning of the campaign gives no doubt - the result of United Russia in Kazan and Tatarstan will be the same record as before.
