It turns out that the strategy of “nah-nas” is an erroneous, and political participation with the help of constitutional procedures is as important as political participation with the help of the street.

And, perhaps, the LDPR, taking into account its indicators and the circumstances that without a charismatic leader she is nothing, awaits an extremely vague future, and possibly leaving the stage. With the Communist Party, the situation is more complicated.

Triophantically driven in the summer of 1996 “The last nail into the lid of the coffin of communism” was not that it rustled and not that the lid raised menacingly. Not a communist idea is popular in the broad masses that actively voted for the Communists, but an abstract idea of justice. More precisely, the feeling of injustice of the current government turned out to be important. The Communists gathered a large harvest of protest voices, not even painted red. The same thing happened with the “fair Russia”, which, thanks to a rigidly opposition campaign and a pronounced social-democratic agenda, scored even more than it seemed to expected herself. Voices also left her from the intelligentsia, who did not want to vote for the Communists or the supposedly impenetrable “apple”.

Freedom, of course, comes in the naked. But the protest voting came in the Red-pink ries of the Communist Party and Socialist-Revolutionaries. With this renaissance in crimson tones, one can congratulate the "Party of Real Affairs of the Crooks and Thieves." What to do to her and the government, which will become like party, is incomprehensible. Because Putin’s main weapon - social transfers to the population, the indexation of pensions - did not work.

The elections demonstrated the indestructible power of the communicative environment. You can not fill up several sites and expect from this positive effect for the authorities. The Internet is too many and diverse, it can be opposed to anything. Social networks have successfully worked as a means of delivering information: Mark Zuckerberg does not even suspect how important his invention was for ordinary Russian citizens.

Finally, the main result of these elections is the awakened civil liability, which manifested itself simply on an unprecedented scale. The common cause, Respublica, brings together. Such a number of observers, volunteers, sincerely interested in the elections to be honest, have never been. This is a completely new phenomenon with which the current government will have to reckon: it is difficult to compete with an aggravated moral feeling. And now it has become obvious: by twisting the nuts, you can get an even greater surge in civilian activism. Another question is that the civil movement is still very fragmented, unsystematic, and preserving its activity at the previous high level is a separate task.

Against the background of the results of parliamentary elections so optimistic for civil society, an intrigue appears in the presidential election - now they will be much more cheerful. This does not mean that Putin ceases to be a favorite, and Medvedev will not receive the coveted post of the prime minister. But the parliamentary elections presented society itself with the possibility of alternatives and competition. And therefore, the remaining time before the presidential election will certainly not be empty. The only question is whether Putin will turn to during the campaign to democratic rhetoric and imitation of a dialogue with society or the usual way will continue to crush the opposition and the media environment.
