The Housing Capital group of companies (Moscow) has begun implementing a project to build a microdistrict in the town of Mozhaisk near Moscow. As stated in the holding's statement, in addition to housing and social facilities, it is planned to build a two-hectare zoo in the microdistrict.
The economy class microdistrict will be located on a plot of 42.5 hectares. The total construction area will be 300 thousand square meters, of which 200 thousand square meters will be low-rise housing.
In total, it is planned to build 39 multi-apartment monolithic brick buildings of variable number of floors from 5 to 17 floors. The project also provides for the construction of two schools, two kindergartens, shopping and entertainment centers and a music school.
Architectural and design work on the facility will be completed in the spring of next year. Housing Capital intends to begin construction work in the third quarter of 2012. The project will be divided into three phases. The estimated completion date for the construction of the microdistrict is 2017. Investments in the project will exceed 10 billion rubles. In particular, borrowed funds will be used to finance construction.
At the end of 2010, RIA Novosti reported that VTB Bank opened a credit line for the Housing Capital Group of Companies in the amount of 600 million rubles for the construction of the Hussar Ballad complex in the city of Odintsovo. The project involves the construction of a residential area with a total area of 550 thousand square meters (27 houses).
The Housing Capital group of companies was created in 1997 and is engaged in the construction of economy-class housing in the Moscow region and Krasnodar Territory. The group’s largest projects are “Hussar Ballad”, “Michurinsky Quarter” (Khimki), residential complex “Nezhinsky Ark” and “House on Mozhaisky” (Moscow), residential complex “Ryazanovsky” and “Yuzhny” in Podolsk, residential complex “Brigantina” in Sochi .
