130 people were poisoned in Nalchik

The number of Nalchik residents hospitalized with diagnoses “acute gastroenterocolite” and “food toxicoinfection” exceeded 131 people, four, including two children in intensive care. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The facts of mass use and poisoning with one product are not confirmed, the department clarifies. According to the Ministry of Health, all patients have taken the necessary tests, preliminary results will be known in a few days. All hospitalized also takes a fence of tests for enterovirus and rotovirus infections in which clinical manifestations are similar to manifestations and symptoms of acute intestinal infection.

The press service also notes that, according to the Vodokanal-analysis laboratory, the water in Nalchik meets the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological norms.
