
Up to 25 billion rubles is planned to be saved by the Rosatom State Corporation this year due to the introduction of a competitive procurement system, Rosatom CEO Sergey Kiriyenko said on December 6 at the opening of the forum of the suppliers of the Atomex-2011 nuclear industry. The head of Rosatom recalled that for the whole of 2010, 19 billion rubles were saved with the help of the procurement system. "For nine months of this year, the effect of competitive purchases amounted to 17.4 billion rubles. According to the results of 2011, the savings can amount to 23-25 billion rubles," said Sergey Kiriyenko.

The publication by the Rosatom of the annual procurement program will allow us to find out in advance what equipment we can put, whether there is a project of some kind of station under construction, what will be purchased, respectively, we can plan our production, time and again money.
I do not think that competition will intensify for us, since all competitors are known, and there are very few analogues for our company, which is a world manufacturer of this equipment. But purchases will become more transparent and convenient.
