The headquarters of Vladimir Putin turned into a fake - not a single person capable of conducting the election campaign in him. In fact, Putin’s campaign will lead officials in the shadow, and the main emphasis will be “Putin - like the father of the nation”. The question is - is it ready to adopt a nation?
Vladimir Putin began his presidential campaign with the formation of the campaign headquarters. The step is quite logical. At a meeting of the All -Russian Popular Front, Vladimir Putin announced its composition. He suggested heading the headquarters to the famous film director Stanislav Govorukhin.
Govorukhin replied that this was “high honor and a huge duty”: “If we consider the art of politics and directing as mixed art, then for me this is a new genre, so I will take up this activity with all my soul,” the director explained. And he promised to engage in new work actively: “I will take it for it with my soul, but I can’t guarantee that your choice is perfect and you have chosen the name of that person, because I am“ considerable ”.”
The proposal of entering the headquarters also received: Alexander Romanov from Vympel, history teacher of Bokova, chairman of the agricultural cooperative Alexei Lavrenenko, Roman Rusano, from “Our Builders”, Honorary Metallurg Valery Yakushev, Member of the People’s Front Youth Club Olga Platoshin, Chairman of the Council of Directors of the Institute of Socio-Economic and Political Studies, the former President of Chuvashia Nikolai Fedorov, Chairman of the Russian Independent Trade Union of Coal Industry Workers Ivan Mokhnachuk, student of the University of Plekhanov Alexander Monenkov.
A motley company, and of all the so far indicated (Putin explained that the list is not closed and can be updated) of the staff of the headquarters only Fedorov and Govorukhin himself, who once elected to the State Duma from the Fatherland have an idea of election campaigns. The methods and specifics of public administration is well aware and even one Fedorov. The rest are simply incapable of leading someone to any elections. What is the political strategist from the honorary metallurgist? Not otherwise like an “honorary”.
So, Putin’s campaign will be done by completely different people who have decided not to shine. For example, the same Deputy Prime Minister and the head of the government apparatus Vyacheslav Volodin or the first deputy head of the presidential administration Vladislav Surkov. In the apparatus of Volodin, the idea was probably born with an opera headquarters, at the head of which there is a professional film director.
Paternalism can play a bad joke with Putin. It is difficult to say how acting the prime minister retains his teflon. Putin's trust ratings showed the fall all last year. By the beginning of 2011, he fell below 50 percent - for the first time in the last years. By November, he was already 37 percent. Putin’s activity, according to the Levada Center, approves more Russians (67 percent), but there, subsidence for a year amounted to more than 10 percent.
With such dynamics, Putin can approach the elections without supporters at all. At least if it is not possible to pump the rating. The images of the external enemy and the search for internal enemies are involved here. As well as a demonstration of devotion to the prime minister from outstanding fellow citizens.
This kind of “Soviet type” campaign at the moment has only one locomotive - Putin himself, who has levers for pressure on the elites, is still a popular politician among the population. However, the locomotive clearly slows down.
At least today Putin again threatened “pests” and those who take foreign money to influence the situation in Russia. The prime minister also insists that some of the demonstrators are pursuing their “narrow -minded goals.” The authorities are an adordinate reaction to the rallies of “irritated city communities” can provoke an almost complete outflow of the electorate in large cities and the growth of protest potential. How much the authorities understand this is difficult to say.
And provided that Vladimir Putin will be able to hold power (but for now it’s unclear what can interfere with this), this is extremely sad. After all, they will turn away from the authorities - perhaps forever - namely, who should move Russia forward. It is businessmen and office workers, people of creative professions, young professionals will refuse to cooperate with the authorities and work for them. Only unprincipled and unhealthy, as a rule, careerists will remain. At such a pace, Russia can be lost - no Govorukhin will help.
