Boris Akunin from the podium proposed dismissing the Moscow City Duma deputies and returning to the elections for the mayor of the city. Journalist Oleg Kashin read a letter from Alexei Navalny.
Boris Nemtsov, who came to the podium, chanted “Churova on the bunk” along with those gathered, followed by one of the leaders of A Just Russia, Gennady Gudkov. He called for all cases of fraud to be investigated, those responsible to be brought to justice and new elections to be held.
Political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin announced the real election results - according to observers at polling stations with public control. United Russia gained no more than 30% there, and 26% in Moscow. Mikhail Kasyanov called for new elections to be organized. Grigory Yavlinsky called for “every vote” to be counted, but at the same time admitted that the Central Election Commission did not accept the party’s complaint. The rally participants adopted a resolution demanding the cancellation of falsified election results and the admission of all parties to the electoral process.
