There were Tverichi, but there were people who specially arrived from other cities of the region.
There were marginals - next to me stood a bunch of whispering teenagers who courageous, demonstrating their adulthood. “Real boys” made a meaningfully laughing, exchanging remarks: “Where is the beer?”, “Well, what will we go to riot police?”, “And she is nothing like that!” (about the protruding girl).
But the most important thing: the majority of those present are ordinary people who, with one act, here and now, said about themselves that they are citizens of their country and that they have self -esteem. I met both my students and fellow students with whom I had not seen for several years. But the majority are just young people whom I have never seen before. And he did not even suspect that they exist.
Someone was with the children.
In addition to the flags, a huge bunch of balls went over their heads-and this brought some kind of festive crazy man. In the back rows, even horse breeders were visible with horses, skating here on weekends.
Of course, there was a mile ..., I'm sorry, - the police (I will not get used to this word)! On the outer perimeter of the square, cars of the PPS and the UAZ-“Bukhanka” were parked. But still, there were few police. Employees of the bodies did not interfere with people. It was possible to freely join the rally or, conversely, leave it.
For this, I am sincerely grateful to my Tver police.
There was only one excess in my eyes.
A youngster with a wrapped scarf suddenly lit a firefire and began to wave it over his head. One of the organizers tried to pull him: Put out immediately! Having not received any approval from most participants (only the “boys”, which I already wrote above, were overwhelmed), the guy threw his toy towards the stood policemen.
In less than a minute, the traffic violator was detained.
Otherwise, everything was calm and decent.
It is understandable, because mainly those who did not forget about human dignity came.
