Two lithographic prints of erotic drawings made by the ex-soloist of Beatles John Lennon sold two thousand dollars each during the online auction held in the United States, RIA Novosti reports.
The lithographs signed by the author of original drawings were printed in 1970. In 14 drawings, Lennon depicted his honeymoon with his wife Yoko, including frank bed scenes. Bidding on which they were exhibited, conducted an auction by Gotta Have Rock and Roll, which specializes in the sales of collection items from the field of sports, entertainment, history and rock and roll.
It was originally planned that the whole collection of 14 drawings of a famous musician will be sold at the auction. For her, the starting price of 72.5 thousand dollars was determined. However, when it became clear that there was no buyer for the entire collection, it was decided to sell the drawings separately. Only two of them managed to implement. One depicts Lennon's naked wife, on the other - a scene of group sex.
In addition to drawings devoted to the intimate side of Lennon’s life, during the auction other relics of the legendary member of the Beatles group were sold, including a list of current affairs, which was compiled in 1980 - in the year of the murder of the musician. This relic was sold for almost 17 thousand dollars.
