Give a gift to children!

The International Charitable Foundation "Children of the World" invited everyone to take part in the New Year's charity event "Give a Gift to Children!" and perform a small miracle for those children to whom, for some reason, Santa Claus may not come.

It was a pleasant surprise for the fund that the Central Bank of Russia decided to support the New Year’s event and take an active part in it.

On December 15, 2011, a collection point for sweet gifts, clothes and toys for children was organized for employees of the Bank of Russia in the Bank building on Neglinnaya. From 10 am to 1 pm, any Central Bank employee could take part in the “Give a gift to children!” campaign. and donate your charity to a child in need. The employees responded to our request with great desire and eagerness and prepared their New Year's gifts in advance. The Central Bank team thought about New Year's gifts not only for children, but also for adults - they will go to lonely old people and people with disabilities. Toys, books, stationery, clothes and shoes for children and adults - all this was brought by Bank employees as part of the “Give a Gift to Children!” charity event. .

There were also those who found out about the ongoing promotion only on the day of receiving gifts. To keep up with the initiative of their colleagues, these employees provided assistance in the form of charitable contributions.

Now, thanks to the employees of the Central Bank, the fund will be able not only to wish children a Happy New Year and give them sweet gifts, but also to provide charitable assistance to nursing homes and lonely old people.

The foundation’s statement says: “We hope that the initiative of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to participate in the charity event “Give a Gift to Children!” will be supported by other banks of the Russian Federation. After all, through joint efforts we can give New Year’s gifts to children and provide real assistance to elderly people and people with disabilities not only in Moscow and the Moscow region, but also in the regions of the Russian Federation.”
