Activist of the Voina art group Pyotr Verzilov, who recently left a special detention center, was taken by force to the military registration and enlistment office. They broke into his apartment and took him to the Golovinsky military registration and enlistment office. At the same time, among the employees of the Center for Combating Extremism was the well-known Alexei Okopny, the initiator of the detention of the young son of the Other Russia activist Sergei Aksenov and a man suspected of involvement in the murder of the National Bolshevik Yuri Chervochkin. The leader of the Movement in Defense of the Khimki Forest, Evgenia Chirikova, told the Dozhd network TV channel that Verzilov’s door was broken into.

As Gazeta.Ru writes from the words of art group activist Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, who was present at the arrest, the car in which Verzilov was taken away was without identification marks.

When Verzilov just left the special detention center, they tried to immediately detain him and send him to the military registration and enlistment office, but then they managed to avoid this. Verzilov was detained after a rally on Chistye Prudy on November 5.

Later it became known that Verzilov was released from the military registration and enlistment office. According to the Ovdinfo.Org website, shortly before this, his lawyer and those picketing near the military registration and enlistment office building were told that Verzilov was not there.
