Medvedev promised to prevent "intervention from outside" in Russian politics

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said he would not allow “outside interference” to the country's domestic policy. The head of state said this in the message to the Federal Assembly, the broadcast of which is on the channel "Russia 24".

“We will not let the provocateurs and extremists draw society into their adventures, and we will not accept the interventions from the outside into our internal affairs,” Medvedev noted. - Russia needs democracy, not chaos. We need faith in the future and justice. ”

“The fact that society is changing, and citizens are more and more actively express their position, impose legal requirements for the authorities - this is a good sign, a sign of growing up of our democracy. And from my point of view, this is a good trend that will benefit our country as increased political competition, which makes us work better, ”the head of state explained.

Medvedev added that he would take measures to “give citizens more opportunities to influence the policy of the Russian state, to make any decisions affecting their rights and interests.”
