In Tyumen, the rally took place in 15-degree frost

An authorized rally against the election results took place on Saturday, December 24, in the center of Tyumen on the Square of Harmony and Unity, Interfax reports.

The rally was organized by a council of initiative groups and citizens of Tyumen; according to them, about 800 people took part in the event. Meanwhile, as a representative of the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, there were significantly fewer protesters, although the agency’s interlocutor did not specify how many.

More than 30 people spoke during the rally, which took place for two hours in 15-degree weather. The rally participants held posters “Give us back the elections”, “I am here for free”, “They stole my vote”, many had white ribbons tied to their clothes.

As a result of the rally, a resolution was adopted demanding to cancel the results of the past parliamentary elections, dismiss the heads of election commissions, stop administrative pressure on voters, and thoroughly and publicly investigate all known cases of violation of the legal election procedure in the Tyumen region.
