Mishchenko: Rosmolodezh needs more money

Member of the Public Chamber, the leader of the Rossiya Young movement, Maxim Mishchenko, complained about the insufficient financing of Rosmolodezh and the wrong approach to youth policy. According to the "Tribune of the Public Chamber", he expressed his claims to a meeting on protests after the elections. "The annual budget of Rosmolodezh is 400 million rubles. For comparison: the budget of the Committee on Youth Affairs of the Volgograd Region is 250 million rubles. Rosmolodezh through a scale of the country receives just a penny," Mishchenko complained.

According to him, the policy pursued by the state in recent years in relation to young people "was not as effective as we would like." “Young people are trying to distract from real policy with various trainings of personal growth, positive games, command formation and other impressive things that do not have an ideological basis. Naturally, this cannot compete with opposition youth and“ orange technology ”, which is promoted by the US State Department,” said Mishchenko.

Meanwhile, on the eve, it became known that the Prochrevsky Youth Movement "Our" does not expect changes in its activities in connection with the resignation of Vladislav Surkov from the post of first deputy head of the presidential administration and his transition to the government. “Our movement” will work in the same mode as usually, no changes are supposed, ”an employee of the press service of the movement Anastasia Fedorenchik told Interfax. The source of Gazeta.ru, surrounded by the head of Rosmolodezh, Vasily Yakemenko, also believes that the resignation of Surkov will not affect the fate of the movement of "our" and Kremlin youth projects.

"The budget for the next year is already planned, Seliger-2012 will be, it does not depend on the permutations in the presidential administration," he assured. The representative of "ours" Maria Kislitsina said that the departure of Surkova from the Kremlin would not in any way affect the functioning of the movement. “It will not affect in any way,” said Kislitsina, adding that she considers Surkov’s transition to work as deputy prime minister an increase.

In April of this year, the Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin said that the Ministry of Finance does not coordinate the draft federal target program "Youth of Russia", which was said by the head of Rosmolodezh Vasily Yakemenko and activists of the "ours" movement, since the program duplicates the existing expenditure obligations of the budget. "We have problems in the field of youth leisure, its healing, education, patriotic education, and so on. We already have serious expenses in all these areas in specialized programs. All our concerns about young people relate to youth. Casting, sport that the country now pays increased attention. Therefore, when they say - let's take a program for two billion rubles, we must understand that 70 percent of expenses and so on. Youth, ”the minister said.

The existence of the program became known in November 2010, when State Duma deputy Sergei Belokonev spoke on the side of Yakemenko in a dispute with the assistant of the president Arkady Dvorkovich. Belokonev was interested in why the presidential instructions under the program "Youth of Russia" were not implemented. At the end of November, Dvorkovich, along with Yakemenko, held a meeting about the program. “He already held three discussions in his federal target program“ Youth of Russia ”, initiated a discussion on the Internet of this program. With the help of my colleagues, friends, several thousand sentences were collected under the program,” Dvorkovich said.
