The protest of the metropolitan residents greatly concerned the authorities. Somewhere a new “historical community” named “Internet users” originated. Or, if contemptuous, the "Internet limp". And now this “Khomyak man” does not “post photos in a cozy litch”, but goes to offline sites.
Time magazine called a certain “abstract protester” “man of the year”. Of course, everything fits into the beautiful packaging - and the protesters from Tahrir Square, and the Libyan rebels, and Russian protesters from pure ponds, triumphal and swamp squares, Sakharov Avenue.
Each protest of this kind is specific and from our Palestine it seems as if the protesting on Tahrir Square - from Mars. Crazy people, who had protests began due to self-immolation, an act of almost inconceivable in Russian modern protest culture. No, it was not so long ago a case when the young oppositionist Ilya Yashin tried to arrange a certain self-immolation in protest against some other injustice of the authorities, but it turned out like a pink-Yashin was immediately extinguished, and he did not think to burn seriously. In general, our protesters with rebellious Arabs seem to be much related.
However, some economists believe that everything explains the word “crisis”. Revenues ceased to grow and the relatively successful authoritarian regimes were rained down. However, the Russian authorities are still at the very least, but copes with the specific protest, which she had to face in the capital. And he manages that she is rarely found, even behaving relatively decently.
However, the Russian protest is really called the event of the year in the political sphere. Therefore, it is there that the “man of the year” should be sought in the Russian version. There, because other persons of Russian political life did not work out.
Dmitry Medvedev, abandoning claims to the presidential post, managed to zero his political capital in one speech - he will clearly not be worthy of the “failure of the year” category “failure of the year”. The current prime minister forced him to go to such a decision, of course, returns to the sovereign management of the state, but it is not clear how effective he will succeed. Yes, and autocracy will be somehow doubtful, until the situation with the same protests will be clear.
They are not “pulling”, as it seems to us, and others who showed themselves this year. Billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov went to politics twice, but so far he did not reach. The heroism of the Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin appeared only when it became clear to everyone that President Medvedev was “fake”. About the head of the CEC Vladimir Churov, it was known much, to take at least the elections to the Moscow City Duma two years ago - magic was revealed to the same order.
And even some blogger Alexei Navalny, with his popular slogan about the “batch of crooks and thieves” for the role of a person of the whole year, it seems, is not very suitable.
Abstraction is needed, the good is the matter that it is self -evident. The protest in the capital became possible, due to the widespread distribution of new technologies - both in the form of specific gadgets with cameras and rooting of the network culture as a whole. It was a protest, as has already been repeatedly noted, of the very “office plankton” and “network hamsters”.
It was he who actively “recorded on a rally” on social networks and made reposts of messages from professional opposition and journalists. This worked as an observer in the December 4 elections and recorded the falsification mechanism, and then told friends and posted records from the phone’s camera to the network. This forced the authorities to at least somehow accept its existence and respond to the performance.
However, having become a “man of the year”, an abstract user of the network risks remaining a statist. The first and easiest option: it will be tried to make political capital - it does not matter Putin, Nemtsov, Navalny or Prokhorov (names here are nothing more than convention). Otherwise, they will simply try to ignore it. It doesn’t work out yet, but Prime Minister Putin the other day has already scolded network users for the insulted by his beloved prime minister workers from Nizhny Tagil.
The subjectivity of the network user is generally doubtful. Is the network capable of organizing certain structures and nomination of the general program? Apparently not. Is it capable of supporting a certain program of abstract oppositionists? Most likely not either. In general, is it the same “civil society” or something else? Yes, God knows him. No one can decide what the protesters tried to say, going out to the square. It is clear that they do not like power. Who loves?
With such a subject, the authorities also do not know what to do. For her, a more familiar and concrete negotiator is more familiar to her, and then a multi-sided monstrik scattered somewhere on VKontakte and Facebook-you will neither corrupt nor incriminating evidence. It is not even clear how to inspire something-he does not think of the logic of the audience of “Channel One”, but in the logic of the “repost” mysterious for the authorities.
One thing is clear-the “limp man” exists and wants something. Either the honesty of power, or responsibility, or a more equal distribution of oil rents. And nothing of this, if he wanted to, can give him: he is too elusive for her. Yes, she does not want to give anything to anyone or become something obligated. Therefore, its representatives and are not worthy to be "people of the year."
