
On Friday night in the main building of Moscow State University on the Sparrow Hills in Moscow, a fire occurred. According to RBC, the total area was 20 square meters. More than 500 people were evacuated from the building, including 150 people from the upper floors.
The fire began on the 18th floor, the signal of it arrived at 03.17 Moscow time. Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene, after 40 minutes the fire was completely eliminated. The fire was assigned a second complexity number on a five -point scale.
As a result of the fire, two people were injured, one of them was assisted on the spot. Another victim - a 21 -year -old citizen of China - was poisoned by smoke and was hospitalized at the Sklifosovsky Institute.
The reasons for the fire are clarified. According to preliminary data, a fire could occur due to an electrical device. Currently, the leadership of Moscow State University and the prefecture of the district take measures to accommodate students.
