Churov: Rollers about violations are mounted

Experts checked more than a hundred videos on which, according to their authors, violations were recorded during the elections to the State Duma, and in most cases revealed signs of installation. This was announced in an interview with the radio station "Echo of Moscow" by the head of the CIK Vladimir Churov. Moreover, information about violations, according to him, is usually not confirmed.

The head of the cycs also expressed doubt that the authors of the discovered "fakes" can be held accountable, since all the materials about falsifications "are posted on the Internet, on sites that are not the media."

In an interview, Churov said that during the students he stole a beer mug in one of the bars of Prague. According to him, the beer mug is the only object that he stole "for his almost 59 -year life." The accusations of theft of votes put forward to him are not true, said the head of the cyc.

Vladimir Churov also told Ekhu Moscow that he was ready to answer the question about his resignation no earlier than four years later, when his term of office expires. When asked how he will do if the heads of the state ask him about his resignation, Churov replied: "When they ask, then we will discuss."

Recently, Vladimir Churov has been criticized against the backdrop of numerous messages about violations that appeared in the media and on the Internet during the State Duma elections that passed on December 4. On December 10, on December 24 on Sakharov Avenue in Moscow, thousands of rallies were held, whose participants demanded the resignation of the head of the CEC and the holding of new elections. Such protests took place in other cities of Russia and the world.

The Russian authorities, in turn, refused to revise the voting results, saying that the violations committed were insignificant and did not have a serious impact on the results of the elections. According to the results of the checks, the Central Election Commission abolished the results of the voting in 21 sections, where 0.06 percent of voters voted in total. Churov’s resignation of the CEC refused to discuss. However, the Council of Human Rights under the President proposed to resign in connection with the loss of trust Vladimir Churov.
