According to him, the document published on the site was prepared by the United Russia party, which nominated Putin as a candidate for the post of head of state. According to Peskov, Putin works personally on his election program, and it will be published later.

A document called "Program 2012 - 2018" published on the Putin 2012 website January 12. The text consists of six chapters. At the same time, he said that "the airtime allotted to the presidential candidate Putin by law will be used in any case to bring his election program to voters." "At the moment, the possibility of participating in the debate of representatives of President Putin, but he himself will make the final decision on this issue," Peskov said.
