Three militants were liquidated in Dagestan

In Dagestan on the night of January 20, three militants were killed as a result of a clash with employees of law enforcement agencies, the RIA Novosti website reports.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of the village of Novo-Gadari Kizilyurt district of the Republic. The security forces held operational-search measures in the forest when three militants came to them and opened fire. During the shootout they were destroyed. None of the security forces was injured.

Presumably, the killed militants were members of the Khasavyurt band group. The personalities of two of them have already been established-these are the twin brothers Sabit and Said Akayev, born in 1986. In June 2011, they “went to the forest” and became active members of the gangstone underground.

According to the National Anti -Terrorism Committee, they are involved in the arsons of stores, the extortion of money from entrepreneurs, the murder of the assistant Imam village of Aksay Khasavyurt district Akhmed Osmanov on November 14, 2011, as well as a police officer of a special company of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Khasavyurt district on October 14, 2011.
