Russian couples won two more medals at the European Championship

The Russian national team won two more medals on the European Figure Skating Championship in the Sheffield: Ekaterina Bobrov and Dmitry Soloviev won Silver, and Elena Ilyin and Nikita Katsalapov in the competitions of dance duets.

“For me, it was the best performance in the season,” Bobrova told reporters after the performance. “It was very difficult to ride. I was in the first place, I was a little worried, but it was a pleasant excitement. I liked how we rode.”

Russian couples missed the French by Natalie Peshal and Fabyan Burza, who received 164.18 points from judges for a short and arbitrary program. Bobrova and Solovyov have 160.23 points, Ilyin and Katsalapov - 153.12.

Note that in the competitions of the dancers a second set of medals Che-2012 was played. Earlier in Sheffield, Russian couples occupied the entire podium : Tatyana Volosozhar - Maxim Trankov "Gold", Vera Bazarova - Yuri Larionov - "Silver", Ksenia Stolbova - Fedor Klimov - "Bronze".
