The Japanese sent Honda to play Italy

The midfielder of the national team of Japan and the Moscow CSKA Keisuke Honda according to Sports Nippon reached an agreement with the Roman Lazio under the terms of a personal contract and is ready to join the team after undergoing a medical examination. The cost of the player, according to the media, amounted to 14 million euros.

On the eve of Honda, he arrived at a meeting with the President of the club Claudio Lotito in Rome from Barcelona, ​​where he underwent rehabilitation after the injury of the right knee.

All week until today, newspapers wrote that Keisuke could continue his career in one of the English clubs. Among others, they were called Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa, who showed interest in him during last year's Asian Cup. Also in June 2011, Japanese was unable to agree with CSKA to the Japanese transition.

Honda began his professional football career at his homeland in the Nagoy Grampus club, which performed from 2005 to 2008. After that, the midfielder moved to the Dutch Venlo, where he spent two more seasons. In January 2010, Keisuke moved to the Moscow CSKA, signing a contract for a period of four years.

Together with the army, the native of Osaka won the 2011 Cup and became the first Japanese football player to reach the Champions League quarterfinals, EUROSPORT recalls.
