When a train crash in the Amur Region, 14 railway tanks with oil, and not six, came off the rails. Such updated data came from the Far Eastern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies.

In total, the composition of Skorodino - Port Nakhodka, which was walking along the route, was 68 tanks. When giving up the rails, nine of them lit up, ITAR-TASS reports. Earlier it was also reported that a break in the contact electric wire led to oil fire.

Forces of the train brigade, burning tanks were disconnected from the main composition, which was immediately allotted to a safe distance.

Immediately, to eliminate the consequences of the fire of petroleum products, fire combustions from the villages of Novoburesky, Progress, Talakan, and the city of Raichikhinsk went to the scene of the incident. Also, four fire trains with foaming agents came out from the stations of the Nazy, Archara, Obluchye and Belogorsk.

Currently, firefighting forces are being extinguished by burning tanks, as well as cooling of a nearby container.

As a result of the gathering of the wagons, two railway tracks were destroyed, oil spilled in an area of ​​up to 600 square meters.

Fire extinguishing is complicated by severe frost, air temperature - minus 30 degrees.

To clarify the situation and coordination of actions to the scene of the incident, the operational group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Amur Region, representatives of the administration of the Bureysky district and the regional government.

In readiness for departure from Khabarovsk, there is a Mi-8 Far Eastern Aviation and Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia with rescuers on board.

In total, 88 people and 20 units of equipment were involved in the elimination of the emergency.
