In Italy, they continue to arrest the participants of the contract matches

Italian law enforcement officers arrested two people on Saturday, including the goalkeeper of the Piacenza team Mario Kassano, on suspicion of contracting football matches, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the Italian media.

Kassano is suspected of involvement in the four "agreements" played by his team in the Games of the series in the Italian Championship in 2008-2009 and 2010-2011.

Together with the 29-year-old goalkeeper, Pyathenets was arrested by 44-year-old Angela Yakovelli, who, according to the media, is closely connected with the sports circles of the southern Italian city of Bari and may be involved in the organization of four contractual matches held by the Bari football club (Series A) in March-May 2011.

The arrests were authorized by the prosecutor's office of the city of Kremon, which conducts an appropriate investigation, and became the third episode in the struggle of Italian law enforcement agencies with "agreements" in national football.

So, at present, more than 30 people arrested in June and December last year, including the former Italian national team, Giuseppe Signori and the ex-captain of the Atalanta team, Christiano Doni, are in custody on the Apennines.
