Sannikov, a condemned in Belarus, asked Lukashenko to have a pardon

The Belarusian oppositionist Dmitry Bondarenko, convicted of the “ December 19 ” case, wrote a petition for pardon in the name of the current president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

According to Khartia'97 , Bondarenko signed a petition for pardon on February 1.

Bondarenko is a proxy of ex -candidate for the president of Belarus Andrei Sannikov. In the case of unauthorized protests of disagreements with the results of the presidential elections in 2010, Bondarenko was found guilty under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (the organization of group actions grossly violating public order or active participation in them) and received two years in prison with a sentence in a general regime colony.

After the arrest in December 2010, Bondarenko worsened chronic diseases, in July last year he had surgery on the spine.

Since January 30, new rules have entered into force in the Mogilev colony, where he is serving time. Having slightly treated Bondarenko, the colony administration decided to tighten the conditions for the detention of a political prisoner, who underwent a complex neurosurgical operation. He was forbidden by a leaf stick, orthopedic shoes that the wife were transmitted were not allowed, it was forbidden to lie in the afternoon, he had to go in order, “light” types of work were also prescribed.

For Bondarenko, who barely moved with the crutch and who is difficult to even sit, the new conditions were simply murderous. On the second day after writing a petition, on February 2, he was returned to a crutch, orthopedic shoes and allowed not to walk in the ranks with a sick spine.

Recall that on November 20, Sannikov himself wrote a petition for pardon, sentenced in May 2011 to 5 years in prison on charges of organizing riots in Minsk. True, they became aware of the presentation only on January 24 of this year, when his wife Irina Khalip received a short -term date through glass with him. Halip said that Sannikov was forced to sign this paper under torture.

“When I saw Andrei, it shocked me how much the exhausted he looks. This is a person who in three months passed at least 10 years of Stalin's camps: Andrei could not say anything specifically to me, it was clear that he was forbidden,” Halip said at a press conference on January 25.

She said that in parting, her husband put a note to the glass, where it was written: "We are talking about saving life. At any moment they can kill me."

Sannikov was a key competitor to the permanent Belarusian leader in the presidential election at the end of 2010. On the night after the elections, he was beaten and arrested.
