The US Federal Prosecutor's Office closed the doping case, excited almost two years ago, with respect to the seven winner of the most prestigious cycling in the world of the Tour de France, American Lance Armstrong.

The US authorities launched the case on the basis of the testimony of another American racer Floyd Landis, who in 2006 challenged the title of the winner of the most prestigious cycle race from Armstrong. Landis claimed that the champion used forbidden drugs. Armstrong had to undergo a doping test in 2006. The results of the examination showed an excess of testosterone level in the Lance body, for which it was disqualified for two years. The athlete himself categorically refuted the accusations.
