A dry cargo is burning off the coast of Crimea. Icebreakers go to the rescue

In the Kerchinsky Strait, about 60 kilometers from the coast of Crimea, the dry cargo ship "Ivan Vikulov" burns, "the assistant to the head of the Crimean headquarters of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic Vladimir Ivanov told Interfax .

According to him, the disaster signal was received at 6:50 local time (8:50 in Moscow). On board there are 14 crew members. Their nationality is not specified.

Ivanov noted that at 7:05, two icebreakers located in the Sea of ​​Azov came out in the direction of the ship: Belousov and Moskin. The icebreakers will get to the distress of the dry cargo for 5-6 hours, given the complex weather atmosphere.

At 8:11 a helicopter of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine flew to the dry cargo, a rescue operation is performed.

Drown-loading "Ivan Vikulov" walked without cargo under the flag of Malta from Turkey to Russian Rostov-on-Don.

The vessel in length has 140 meters, 16 meters wide.
