According to Interfax, a source in the organs, firefighters for several hours were looking for a focus of fire at the Institute of Nuclear Physics.
"At about 5 hours 30 minutes in the morning, a message was received about smoke on the first underground floor of the Institute of Nuclear Physics on Bolshaya Cheremushkinskaya Street, House 25," the agency’s interlocutor said. According to him, due to the fact that the object is regime, firefighters were not allowed to the territory of the institute for a long time.
"The search for the hearth of smoke was carried out for several hours, and only shortly before 11 a.m. the fire of the fire was discovered in an underground manifold," the interlocutor of Interfax said.
At 11:18, RIA Novosti reported that the fire was extinguished. According to Interfax, firefighters used a special foam.
