Having assessed the projects of my colleagues in the “Become a Businessman” project, a sad thought came to my mind that my support is only from my employees and my family. Unfortunately, I had to open a business without a partner with whom I could share functionality and make decisions on an equal basis. I have not been lucky enough to meet people who share my ideology. Some people believe that the existence of a law firm with such a price list is impossible, while others build relationships with clients according to schemes that do not provide quality services that encourage repeat business. I hope that people who share my interests will grow within the company on the instilled corporate culture.

In response to criticism of prices, I would like to note that they were not taken from my head. The cost of most of Gridley's legal services is accurately calculated based on the average salary in the region, the cost of an hour of work for a lawyer at full capacity and, of course, the prices of competitors. Undoubtedly, there are unforeseen situations when the process of resolving the situation takes much longer, but they are extremely rare, and the cost specified in the contract for the provision of services is final, which is communicated to the client (including to avoid the temptation to change it).

An interesting problem that we had to face was the lack of faith in the low cost of services on the part of clients. One day I received a call from a client who, having seen Gridley’s advertisement, asked three or four questions, trying to find out where they wanted to deceive her and for what she would have to pay extra. I got the impression that if you had told her that for the examination of documents, for example, you would have to “throw on” more, she would happily hang up the phone with the words: “I knew it!”

Considering plans for rapid and progressive development, it is simply necessary to attract additional financial resources. The next logical step should simply be to contact business angels. Gridley, of course, is not a company in the field of high-tech IT technologies, but it is still worth the risk. I developed a business plan even before opening the company, but life made its own harsh adjustments to it. Therefore, the important task now is to correct and expand it.
