Kremlin: a list of participants in the meeting with Medvedev is not yet ready

A senior source in the Kremlin called the “premature” list of participants in the upcoming meeting of President Dmitry Medvedev with representatives of unregistered and not represented in the State Duma of parties, RIA Novosti reports. He confirmed that Medvedev plans to meet "both with the leaders of the registered parties represented and not represented in the State Duma, and with those who represent the political forces claiming to register parties in the future." “The president does not plan to discuss the issues of the results of the parliamentary elections, the president does not plan to discuss the current rally. Those who want and are ready to discuss political initiatives proposed by the Head,” a source in the Kremlin noted.

On Wednesday, Vedomosti reported that Medvedev on February 20 will meet with the leaders of 5-7 parties who were denied registration. The meeting was conceived as a confirmation of the course for liberalization and the “beginning of dialogue with Bolotnaya”: “The Kremlin offers the non -systemic opposition not to balamn people in vain, but to legalize and begin the struggle for power in the political field.” According to the publication, the Law on the lightweight registration of parties will be adopted by the State Duma at an emergency meeting to the presidential election.

An invitation to a meeting with Medvedev was confirmed by the leader of the Russian public union Sergey Baburin and the leader of the party Konstantin Babkin. According to Vedomosti, the co -chair of the Party of People’s Freedom Mikhail Kasyanov and the leader of another Russia Eduard Limonov will definitely not be invited to the meeting. The Kremlin source doubts that the leader of the Front’s company Sergei Udaltsov and co -chair of Parnassus Boris Nemtsov will be invited.

The message about the upcoming meeting was already commented by Mikhail Kasyanov. "Consultations with the non -playing opposition of the outgoing Medvedev is a weak, but still a signal of readiness to give in something. The departing Medvedev will not invite me to a meeting with the opposition. This is a recognition of the sequence of my position. But the movement begins," Kasyanov noted, suggesting that they would "call Volodya Ryzhkov from Parnas."

At the end of December, Medvedev introduced a bill on the new rules for registration of parties and presidential candidates. According to the bill from January 1, 2013, the political party should have at least 500 members representing half of the regions, instead of the currently necessary 50 thousand.

Since 2005, when a new law on parties entered into force, the Ministry of Justice registered only the party’s party. The Party of People’s Freedom, “Other Russia”, “Rot Front”, the People's Democratic Party Kasyanov, the Poland of Homeland-common sense ”Mikhail Delyagin and a dozen parties were refused. The predecessor of "other Russia" National-Bolshevik party was prohibited as extremist.

In January, the Supreme Court ordered the Ministry of Justice to restore the registration of the Republican Party Vladimir Ryzhkov. A lawsuit in the Armed Forces was filed after the victory of Ryzhkov in the European Court of Human Rights. In 2007, the Republican Party refused re -registration and liquidated in court.

The democratization of electoral legislation is one of the requirements of the rallies "for honest elections" held in December and February. Protesters require new parliamentary elections and the care of Vladimir Putin, as well as the release of political prisoners.
