Business trip to protect Putin

Several officials of the government of the Chelyabinsk region had a hard day today. The next three or four will definitely be just as difficult. They are instructed to urgently organize, formalize and send to Moscow, for a rally on February 23 in defense of Putin, a detachment of envoys from the Government of the region - about 10 souls from each ministry and department (but here selectively - from the frail Ministry of Health, for example, they don’t take anyone at all, but from the corpulent Ministry of Construction, like even 15), for a total of 153. Why exactly so much is difficult to say, but this was the case this afternoon, although terrible turmoil reigns in the government and what else will come of all this is unknown. But in Moscow, they say, there should be 200 thousand envoys at the rally!

There really is a full box of problems. Try to gather such a crowd of officials of different stripes and competently arrange for them to go to Moscow for two days in the complete absence of legal grounds for their presence there! And our people themselves: some can’t, some don’t want to, and some really want to hang out for free in the capital, but their moral and political character raises doubts: you can’t take such people as Putin’s defenders.

The main thing is that as for the “freebie” itself, everything is still very alarming, and doubts about this issue immediately destroy all the enthusiasm of the “supporters”. At first they planned to issue travel allowances for everyone, but then someone at the top got scared of something (bloggers, I guess) and ordered the documents that were already ready to be destroyed. Now they say that everyone will go at their own expense, and their expenses will be “compensated later.” Most likely, in the form of a special bonus (at the expense of the general population, of course - money is hard to come by even in the government these days).

How to transport this entire powerful special squad to Moscow? Or maybe book a charter, but not on a regular flight: then no one else will fly away. They will be sawing on the train for a long time, which means they need to be removed from service on Wednesday. And where should they be settled in the capital so that all the livestock is always at hand, so that they don’t scatter? Expenses, swearing, fuss, hassle and headaches... This is your democracy.

And remember, this is only about regional officials. What about the city ones? And what about “labor collective envoys”? At Makfa, mobilization has been announced, at ChTZ... In Yekaterinburg, 20 carriages from the trade unions alone have already been filled with envoys.

In general, I don’t know what they will say about Putin on the 23rd, but what the organizers are already saying today is unprintable.

Yes, and here's another. I strongly advise everyone to postpone trips to Moscow, starting somewhere from Tuesday to Friday inclusive. Mostly Putin’s defenders will be flying and driving around. Then they will disappear and everything will fall into place.
