Master class!!! Bravo!!!

A rather interesting event happened yesterday. I turned on the Russia 24 channel and prepared to watch the election debate between the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Gennady Zyuganov and Vladimir Zhirinovsky. In general, I didn’t expect to hear anything particularly new, the programs of both participants have long been well known, I’ve already heard theses many times, but it was very interesting to assess the strength of the positions of both candidates at this point in time. In a word, I stocked up on popcorn and got ready to watch.

However, what I saw on the screen exceeded all my wildest expectations. Gennady Andreevich and Vladimir Volfovich showed a real “master class” in debates with the authorities. They immediately took the initiative into their own hands. They talked peacefully, discussing the current situation in Russia, not forgetting to offer recipes for correcting this disgrace. They anticipated all the host’s questions, and he could only look in confusion from one guest to another.

During the program, the participants managed to discuss the political and economic aspects of their programs, responded to their opponents in the person of Prokhorov and Mironov, and discussed the publications of the “main” candidate. On any issue, no matter what they touched, there was rare unanimity. They politely passed the floor to each other, sharing their impressions of their trips around the country and conversations with citizens. This topical conversation gave viewers a very unpleasant picture of the complete collapse of the country’s economy and social sphere. They clearly indicated the points from which it is necessary to begin the recovery of the country. Their programs complement each other.

I don’t know what the presenter and the management of the Russia 24 channel were preparing for, but it is absolutely clear that everything did not go as the authorities would have liked. This was eloquently evidenced by the confused look of the presenter himself. He could only listen and twirl his glasses in his hands, which allowed him to hide his nervousness. This program is not on the channel's website. All attempts to post it end in deletion. For now, it remains possible to find only individual fragments of it. Here, for example, is one of them.
