
The Presnensky court of Moscow extended the arrest to Sambist Rasul Mirzaev, after which 19-year-old Ivan Agafonov died, until May 17. On the eve of the Zamoskvoretsky court arrested the athlete before April 1. This was reported by RAPSI .
Earlier, the investigation re -qualified the article on which Mirzaev was accused. Now the athlete is accused of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence.
The defense of Mirzaev insisted on retraining the athlete’s actions, since, according to her statement, Agafonov died from a blow to the asphalt in the fall, and not because of the actions of Mirzaev.
It is worth noting that during the trial, Mirzaev was given a defender for their intended purpose, against which he objected. “This is not my lawyer, I have an agreement with Alexei Gribensky,” he said. The court noticed that the defender was informed about the meeting, but did not appear.
