
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the Supreme Khural (parliament) of the Republic of Tuva the candidacy of Kara-ool Sholban Valerievich to give him the powers of the head-the chairman of the government of the republic, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the Kremlin press service.
The 46-year-old Sholban Kara-ool has been heading the republic since 2007, its powers have expired in April this year.
On February 22, United Russia introduced Medvedev three candidates for the post of head of Tyva, including Davaa Kan -Ool Timurovich - Chairman of the Supreme Khural Viktor Nikolaevich - head of the city of Kyzyl.
