On February 27, in Tver, a round table was held in Tver to discuss the introduction of luxury tax in Russia. Together with representatives of local political and business communities, city administrations, members of non-profit organizations and the media were discussed by Mikhail Delyagin , a Russian economist and publicist.
Recall that at the 19th Congress of the RSPP, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin mentioned the possibility of introducing a new tax since 2013 and proposed creating a tax project based on proposals that will arise during its discussion by the general public. The RSPP decided to contribute to the discussion of this topic by holding round tables and public discussions in large Russian cities.
