The Moscow City Hall agreed to continue negotiations on the opposition rally on March 5. This was announced on his Facebook page by a member of the Organizing Committee "For Honest Elections" Sergey Parkhomenko. “It seems that our diplomatic poem will continue today. Volodya Ryzhkov called yesterday from the City Hall with the report that Vice -mayor Gorbenko will be glad to continue negotiations about the rally on the evening of March 5. I understand that our big white circle turned out to be quite large and quite white to make a due impression on our respected and multi -permissive interlocutors,” Parkhomenko wrote.
On the eve of the organizers of the protest rally on March 5, the city hall notified that they were ready to hold the action only on Lubyansk or Manezhnaya Square. This is stated in an official letter sent to the city hall. On behalf of the applicants, the letter was signed by Igor Bakirov, Sergey Davidis and Anastasia Udaltsova.
The mayor’s refusal to coordinate the rally on Lubyanka and the proposal to transfer it to Bolotnaya Square, the applicants consider the embankment of Taras Shevchenko or the Poklonnaya Mountain "unreasonable and illegal." Citizens will come to express their attitude to the elections defining the fate of the country for the next 6 years, the document is noted. “Such a significant event should take place on one of the most central squares of Moscow, next to the locations of state bodies, whose activities concern the purpose of the event, and in places that are convenient for Muscovites who share the goals of the events,” Bakirov, Davidis and Udaltsov write. The exiles of the authorities to transport problems contradict the obligations of Russia in the framework of the European Convention on Human Rights and the decisions of the Strasbourg Court, the letter said.
“In connection with the illegality and unreasonableness of your proposal, we confirm the previously declared venue of the rally - Lubyanskaya Square. Stronging for a reasonable compromise, we are ready to accept the proposal to change the rally on the Manezhnaya Square of Moscow,” the applicants concluded.
Meanwhile, the mayor's office agreed on the action of the pro -Kremlin youth movements in the Lubyansk square on March 4 and 5. From 7:00 to 23:00 activists of the organizations "Local", "Russia young", "New People" and "Grouping of Changes" will be held on the Lubyanka "Political Marathon of Victory". Promotions will take place without overlapping and with the declared number of up to 1000 people.
On the morning of February 20, the Prochrevsky activists managed to get ahead of competitors with the submission of the application for March 5 after a night confrontation and morning brawl at the city hall on Tverskaya. The "young Russia" submitted the application fraudulently using an administrative resource, the members of the protest organizing committee believe. Meanwhile, at the negotiations with the mayor's “The motive of the priority of filing applications - who was the first one, who was not the first - was not remembered at all,” said Sergey Parkhomenko, a member of the organizing committee. Earlier, Vice-mayor, Alexander Gorbenko, said that the technology of filing applications will affect the decision on notifications on March 5. “I am sitting, watching videos, written explanations of all. The work is in full swing, but I think that it will be to decide who is to blame for law enforcement agencies,” said Gorbenko. “I think that any normal person who saw and understood what the application was submitting the appropriate conclusions - what kind of events they would be, how aggressively they are aggressive,” added Vice mayor.
Another member of the organizing committee, Sergei Udaltsov, believes that in Moscow, half a million people will come to the streets on March 5. "We plan that we will collect 500 thousand people in Moscow. At least 200 thousand citizens should be released in St. Petersburg," Udaltsov said at a press conference in St. Petersburg before the Saturday of the Saturday for honest elections.
Last week, the organizers of the shares for honest elections submitted notifications of the procession on March 10 from the Poklonnaya Mountain to the new Arbat with a rally at the end, as well as on rallies on March 8 and 9.
