At one time, there was a federal expert council on textbooks, which examined textbooks and gave the stamp “recommended for use in schools.” It did not work very well, and there were many appeals from citizens, right up to the Presidential Administration.

In my alma mater, St. Petersburg State University, there is another round of history with the deputy. Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sergei Samoletov, who still cannot be kicked out of his job, unlike deans Petrov and Shishkina.

In many articles, the idea is often heard: scientists need an organization that would really protect the interests of scientists. But such an association seems to already exist. It’s just that it doesn’t always cope with its statutory tasks properly.

I missed the first motor rally along the Garden Ring and regretted it when I watched the reports. Therefore, on February 19, I bought a white braid, tied it around the neck of my hefty dog, took a friend third, and we set off for Moscow.

Boris Ovchinnikov asked the question: are there any universal signs that allow us to assess with a sufficient degree of reliability whether there were significant falsifications in a particular region, city, district or not?

I want to draw attention to a case related to the philosophy of knowledge and science in general. It can be imagined as if in a large school - the entire Russian Federation has been using a textbook with torn out pages for many years.
